這集是Glee第一季第十六集，就提到說有學生為了進那個啦啦隊而必須減肥等等的戲份。。
當Glee的其中一個成員，她是一名黑人，蠻豐腴，然後為了加入啦啦隊，所以必須減肥，不過減到暈倒。。
這是她在唱歌前說的一席話：
" Hey guys, I am Mercedes Jones. So, most of you know Cheerios is about perfection and winning, looking hot, being popular. Well I think it should be about something different. How many of you at this school feel fat? How many of you feel like maybe you're not worth very much? That you're ugly, and have too many pimples, and not enough friends? Well I've felt all those things about myself at one time or another. Hell I've felt those of most things about myself today. And that just ain't right. And we've got something to say about it. And you like what we have to say, come down here and sing it with us. "
